PAGE SETUP DIALOG BOX

The Microstran Page Setup command lets you use any printer accessible on the network without having to change the Windows default printer settings for your workstation. The Page Setup dialog box shows the current printer and paper size and allows you to change these using the Windows Print Setup dialog box. This facility is very convenient if you need to use different printers for different types of output, for example, A4 for reports and A3 or color for graphics. You can specify page margins to the nearest mm independently for reports and graphics.

Changes introduced with Microstran V8 include:

A scale may be specified for graphical output.
You have the option of specifying a bitmap (graphic) to be shown at the top of every page. This can be used for your company logo. See Optional User Logo Bitmap.
Microstran no longer changes the Windows default printer when you select a new printer in Page Setup.
