Data Tips

In Microstran when the cursor rests over a node or a member for a fraction of a second, a pop-up window called a data tip appears. This gives you on-the-fly information that simplifies data input and display of results. You can have instant and automatic confirmation that the node or member you are about to include in an operation is the right one.

In Microstran V8 data tips have been expanded - for nodes they include non-zero restraint codes, while for members they include reference node/axis, section number, material number, and non-zero release codes.
